Shipping and Returns

How long will my order take?

Please be aware that most items by Alternatots are made to order and can take up to 20 working days or longer to dispatch, small orders do not usually take that long but larger orders might so please bare that in mind. We always try to get items out as quickly as possible and it does depend not only on making time but whether the correct materials are in stock. If you would like something for a special date then please email me before you buy at julia@alternatots.com to find out if it will be possible.

If you have any questions about your order and delivery time then do not hesitate to contact me as i may not get a chance to contact everyone who has made an order with me.

If the item is in stock then it will be sent out within 5 working days, if you have ordered a custom made item as well as an item already in stock then everything will be sent together unless you request otherwise.

Shipping

All items are sent as detailed in our Terms & Conditions.

Within the UK I send all items first class Royal Mail and if you spend over £50 i will send it recorded delivery. If you would like it sent recorded delivery regardless of amount spent then please request this before you order.

Overseas items are sent via airmail and if the order is over £50 it will be sent Royal Mail's International Signed for Service.

I always obtain proof of postage for all items sent.

Please note: we cannot be held responsible for postage delays either in the UK or to overseas locations or items lost in the post.

Returns

All items are checked before being sent out but if for any reason you are unhappy with your item then please inform me straight away at julia@alternatots.com

If you need a different size then please be aware that it might have to be made first so i will not be able to change it straight away, if you are worried about what size to order then please speak to me first.

Alternatots accepts exchanges for products that have not been washed, worn or damaged and the tags (if it has one) must be attached to the garment.

I do not accept returns for items sold at a reduced price or in my SALE section.

Please contact me within 7 working days of receiving your order if you wish to return an item and it should be returned to me within 28 days of receipt if you require a refund.

If you do return an item then please use the Royal Mail signed for method for peace of mind and please inform me first so that I know to expect it.

Buyer pays for the return of items and postage will not be refunded unless the item is faulty.
